Jared started his adventure in photography in the summer of 2005 when his grandmother gave him his first camera, a Pentax K1000. The summer of 2005 sparked Jared’s love for photography. During his undergrad career Jared’s photography focused on portraits, event photography, and landscapes. Working primarily with medium and large format cameras most of Jared’s work focuses on the analog process as he really enjoys spending time in the darkroom developing his own film and making silver prints.

Something interesting about me: I am colorblind, my favorite color is gray, or maybe it's teal. I am from Pemberville, Ohio, a small town in Northwest Ohio - population 1250. I have been shooting since I was in high school. Exploring different landscapes and abandoned buildings is one of my favorite past times. I also enjoy making portraits and macro photos of flowers. I have been in collecting cameras since I was young. I used to go to estate sales and antique shops with my grandparents and the cameras always caught my eye. I collect and shoot with a multitude of older cameras.

I attended Bowling Green State University and received my Bachelors of Science in Applied Health Sciences in 2017.
